TrainerBase has provided this facility for members to offer their Resources for FREE or FOR SALE.
There is a maximum file size of 3Mb. Programme files including ZIPs cannot be uploaded.
Members wishing to offer Resources FOR SALE should state the price they want for the Resource.
Uploaded (for sale) resources are examined for suitability, both from a point of content and value. A resource will only be approved if:
a) it is deemed by the approving editor to be worth paying for
b) has a description that explains the resource fully and does not lead to misrepresentation
TrainerBase reserves the right to amend the description but is not obliged to write a full description when one is not supplied.
TrainerBase is not obliged to approve any resource that is offered for sale as the resource will be purchased by TrainerBase on a demand basis and reserves the right not to supply materials to it's members.
TrainerBase endeavours to approve a resource for sale within 24 hours but cannot guarantee this. When a resource is approved the contributor is notified by email. If a contributor has not received an approval notice; assume the resource has not been approved. Given the guidlines above, TrainerBase is not obliged to explain the reasons for non approval, but will offer advice if requested.
TrainerBase has made extensive investment in the security of the download facility, however, if a resource is leached or otherwise downloaded from the site without payment being made, then a sale has not taken place and TrainerBase will not be liable for payments.
ADVICE
Resources that sell most are those that retail for between £5 and £10. Placing a sample FREE resource, with important bits missing or in un-editable PDF format gives prospective buyers a chance to examine the resource.
Resources are unlikely to sell if there is insufficient information about the product being purchased. From a selling point of view, the description should indicate what the resource can do for the purchaser, what the resource is, becomes secondary.
PLEASE NOTE
TrainerBase will add a markup to the cost of the Resource (that you specify) to cover transaction and administration costs. The current markup is 50%. This means that if you want to earn £5 for a resource, you enter £5 in the cost field, TrainerBase will add £2.50 markup and the resource will be sold on the site for £7.50. If your resource is normally sold for £5, then add it to the site for £3.33. Given that a transaction costs in the region of £1.00, TrainerBase will not approve resources for sale for less than £3.00.
Members who are VAT registered will be prompted to supply their VAT registration number the first time they upload a resource.
Settlement is on a monthly basis and will be made by BACS on receipt of an invoice for accumulated transactions from the previous calendar preiod. DO NOT send invoices for each transaction during the month.

Members add downloads to the site in accordance with the Terms and conditions of the site. TrainerBase reserve the right to refuse any or all requests for resources to sold on the site.
