Hi all

A couple of members have commented that there are a growing number of Open Opportunities being posted on the site that do not require a subscription; and were wondering whether this devalued their membership.

Yes there are a few Open Opportunities but NO (IMHO) it doesn't devalue membership. The Open Opportunities are generally for the growing number of 'Technical' or 'Specialist' subjects where there are few if any members. The hope is that the purchaser/advertiser gets at least some responses and has a more positive view of TrainerBase and will come back and use it again.

Most if not all opportunities that are for Commercial, Soft and Management skills development DO require a subscription to view within the 14 day restricted period. And most of these opportunities are fulfilled within days and are never seen by non subscribed members.

The past few months has seen a bit of an increase in opportunities being posted on the site; and as reported (to me) increase in contracts being won by subscribed members.

I hope this helps alay any fears about the value of membership and indicates a strategic intent to make TrainerBase more appealing to a wider purchasing community.

Onwards and upwards.
